Join Dream a Dream and be the change-maker that will help them give access to education to hundreds of young people.

Trip Summary

Join the third half as we take you to India, where you’ll experience the rich history of this beautiful country, from the majesty of the Taj Mahal to ancient temples and bustling markets in Delhi to the sprawling metropolis of Nagpur. In India one encounters both the modern and the old world in constant juxtaposition, as Western culture meets traditional values.

Experience all this colorful and energetic country has to offer, from its wild passion for ‘Bollywood’ and sport to its colorful local festivals and street vendors. You’ll also learn first-hand about the very real social challenges in one of the world’s poorest countries and experience how soccer is helping kids growing up in the overcrowded slums of cities like Delhi and Nagpur.

Delhi is all at once chaotic and calm, where cows wander the streets amongst the teeming rickshaw cabs thronging around sites of historical wonder. The 17th century Red Fort is a mass of domes and turrets, while Chandni Chowk market is an exercise in friendly haggling. Travelers and locals flock to the India Gate, the national monument of India that honors the soldiers who died in World War I and the Third Afghan War and of course the nearby, world-famous Taj Mahal in nearby Agra.

You’ll visit My Angels Academy, which uses sport to provide hope and education to children living in the slums of Vikaspuri.
